Ben Webster, Environmental Editor of The Times writes that the world is “out of time” to act on climate change and the consequences will be catastrophic unless there are immediate large-scale reductions in greenhouse gases.
UN Secretary General António Guterres was speaking at the launch of a UN report which warns that emissions have bounced back after the temporary decline last year due to the pandemic.
